When designing the third plate in our snack and baby range, we wanted to ensure we kept the key feature that you told us you loved – the small area for dipping sauces. We also knew that you wanted a surface area big enough for slices of toast, dippy eggs and other wonderful foodie creations.
We are happy to present our classic square plate which joins the Essential Tableware range from eco rascals. We think this size plate is perfect for the newest of foodies. A great size for fruit and vegetable sticks. Let your baby practice their fine motor skills as they push their food to the edge and learn to grip.
After the children hit about 12 to 18 months, you’ll notice their appetite increasing and they might be ready to move on to a bigger plate like our owl or our elephant for lunch and dinner. The snack plate won’t go into retirement though – it’s a great size for breakfast, snacks and picnics.

Care Instructions
This bit is really important to ensure you get the most life out of your plate. Follow these instructions and this plate will stick around for many years.
Before first use, remove the silicone suction base and wash in warm soapy water. This is how you should clean it after each use too. Keep the silicone off between uses to allow the bamboo to breath.
Natural bamboo doesn't do well submerged in water for lengths of time or made to get too hot or too cold so please don’t put in microwaves, ovens, sterilisers, dishwasher or freezers.
Like most natural products, a little TLC can go a long way. Each month, coat the bamboo with a little bit of coconut oil using a kitchen towel. This will create a natural barrier and keep the plate looking new.
Eco Rascals
Eco Rascals was founded in 2018 by two British expat Mums living in Abu Dhabi. Sharing a deep passion to reduce the use of plastic, they wanted to develop a product that was plastic free, sustainable and biodegradable. The beautiful dinnerware from Eco Rascals is made of bamboo grass. Bamboo grass matures in five years, significantly faster than any wood product. It is grown and harvested without the use of pesticides. Organic bamboo is eco-friendly biodegradable, heat, stain, odour and water resistant and most importantly it is non-toxic. The products are not only natural, plastic-free, non-toxic and sustainable, they also stylish. The line of products ranges from spoons to spout cups. There are plates in different shapes (such as a car or owl) and a silicone suction cup is attached to the bottom of the plates that ensures that it stays in place.
