Remove the silicone suction cup before first use and wash it in warm soapy water. You should also clean it after each use. Keep the silicone off between uses to allow the bamboo to breathe.

Natural bamboo is not suitable for being submerged in water for long periods or made to become too hot or too cold, so do not place it in microwaves, ovens, sterilizers, dishwashers, or freezers.

Like most natural products, a little TLC can go a long way. Wipe the bamboo every month with a small amount of coconut oil using a tea towel. This creates a natural barrier and keeps the board looking like new.
