With her red bow and cheerful face, Hello Kitty has been a favourite for generations. At Tiny Giggles you'll find Hello Kitty items for little and bigger fans: b.box sippy cups for the very youngest, a soft poncho for after the bath, and backpacks and a gym bag for nursery, school and sports. Below you can read what's available and which age it suits.
Hello Kitty was born in a suburb of London. She lives with her parents and her twin sister Mimmy, who is also her best friend. She loves baking cookies and making new friends. Her motto: you can never have too many friends. You'll see that cheerful, friendly character in all the designs, from the pink colours to the sweet details.
The white kitten with the red bow is simple, recognisable and always cheerful. Young children recognise her straight away, and for older children she's a familiar character they love to show off. A bag or cup with their favourite character makes everyday moments a little more fun: drinking, going to school or packing their things. A cheerful design also helps with new steps, like the first day at nursery.
For the very youngest there are two Hello Kitty sippy cups from b.box, in Candy Floss (pink and green) and Pop Star (pink). They are suitable from 6 months and have:
The cup is top-rack dishwasher safe, but not microwave safe. More cups are under kids' cups and mugs. Looking for a drink bottle for later? Then see the b.box bottles for girls, which include a Hello Kitty bottle.
After the bath or swimming, wrap your child in the pink 60 x 120 cm poncho. It's 100% cotton, suitable from newborn to 4 years and washable at 40 °C. More under bath ponchos and bath articles for girls.
For nursery, school or a day out there are three pink backpacks in 100% polyester, suitable from 3 years, all with adjustable shoulder straps and a loop on top:
All backpacks are under backpacks for girls and backpacks and school bags.
The pink 44 x 37 cm Sweet Charm gym bag is made of polyester and handy for PE kit, swimming things or a spare set of clothes. Hang it on the peg at school, so your child has everything to hand for PE and the backpack stays free for the rest. More under gym bags for girls.
For a toddler or preschooler, a smaller backpack such as the Sweet Charm or Fluffy Friends is best: not too heavy and easy to carry. If your child takes more along, like a lunchbox, drink bottle and a book, the Take Me To The Party backpack with front pocket offers more room. Adjust the shoulder straps so the backpack sits high on the back. Let your child try it on first; you'll notice straight away if the size is right. Pack heavy items, like a drink bottle, close to the back for the most comfortable carry.
Complete the school bag with a lunchbox for girls and a lunch bag for girls. Putting together a school set? With create a school kit you get 5% off on 2 products, 10% on 3 and 15% on 4 or more. Everything for the school day is under school.
Take the sippy cup in the changing bag, the poncho to the pool and the backpack to grandma and grandpa's. With her own bag, your daughter packs her things herself: a cuddly toy, a book and something to drink. Put her name on the bag, so it doesn't get lost among the other backpacks at nursery or school. That way her favourite character comes along everywhere.
Rinse the sippy cup after use and put it in the top rack of the dishwasher; take the straw out regularly to clean it properly. Wash the poncho at 40 °C. Wipe the backpacks and gym bag clean with a damp cloth. Let everything dry well before using it again. That way everything stays fresh and lasts a long time.
A Hello Kitty backpack is a fun gift for the first day of school or a birthday, and a sippy cup or poncho makes a cheerful baby gift. More ideas are under gifts for girls. We are happy to gift-wrap your present.
