Using them safely
Only use a bandana bib when your baby is awake and you are with them. Always take the bib off when your baby goes to sleep, including for a nap in the pram or car seat. A bib or teether around the neck does not belong in bed. Check the poppers and the teether regularly, and stop using the bib if anything is loose or damaged.

How many do you need?
A baby who drools a lot can easily get through two or three bibs a day. With four to six bandana bibs you always have a clean one at hand, even when one is in the wash. Washing and care
Wash the bibs at 40 °C with a mild detergent, preferably without fabric softener: that keeps them more absorbent. Close the poppers before washing to keep them in good shape. Let them air dry. Clean the teether of a Neckerchew regularly with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid.
Tip for dry skin
Drool that stays wet for a long time can make the skin around the mouth and neck red. So change a wet bib in time and gently pat the skin dry with a muslin cloth. This helps prevent chafing or irritation.
