Mushie makes modern, simple baby products in soft colours and timeless prints. At Tiny Giggles you will find Mushie silicone placemats, bibs and suction bowls for mealtimes, and a stretchy baby wrap for when you head out together. Everything is designed to look beautiful and to be practical in everyday use.
Mushie is an American baby brand, founded in 2018 in Houston. The products are designed in Houston and Sweden. The brand started with the wish to make safe, beautiful essentials for its own baby and is best known for its silicone bibs and children's tableware. The style is calm and Scandinavian: soft shades, simple shapes and playful prints such as planets, cherries, rainbows and retro cars. Because the colours are so calm, the products go well together and with almost any kitchen.
When your little one starts on solid food, the table quickly becomes a place of discovery. Mushie's silicone products are made to make that easier: they are soft, easy to clean and go well together. Combine a bib, a placemat and a bowl in the same print or colour for a calm look.
Silicone is a lovely material for first tastes: it is soft, flexible and doesn't break when it falls off the high chair. That way your child can calmly practise picking up, stabbing and scooping. You will find all bibs for eating and messing under eating & mess bibs.
The Mushie silicone placemat is made of 100% food-grade silicone, free of BPA and phthalates. It is about 43 x 20 cm and suitable from 6 months. The placemat is stain-resistant, doesn't absorb water and is cleaned with a damp cloth and a little soap. Choose from the prints Cherries, Planets, Rainbows and Retro Cars. The placemat goes perfectly with the Mushie silicone bibs.
The Mushie silicone bib is made of food-grade silicone, free of BPA and phthalates. A handy food catcher catches most leftovers. The round neck fastening has 7 settings, so the bib fits well and comfortably from 6 months to 3 years. The bib is stain-resistant, doesn't absorb moisture and is rinsed clean under the tap with soap after eating. It comes in the prints Planets and Retro Cars. You will find more bibs under bibs.
The Mushie silicone suction bowl is about 11.5 x 5 cm and made of 100% food-grade silicone. The suction base helps the bowl stay in place on a smooth surface as much as possible. That way your little one can practise eating independently and there is less spilling. The bowl is suitable from 6 months and can go in the microwave and the oven. Hand wash the bowl in warm soapy water before first use. Choose from Powder Blue, Soft Lilac and Stone. Also take a look at all our kids' bowls.
The Mushie baby wrap is a stretchy, ergonomic wrap made of organic cotton. A stretchy wrap is popular for newborns, because they feel wonderfully secure close to you. The fabric is breathable, which helps prevent overheating. The wrap is about 5.40 metres long and 45 cm wide, has a universal fit and is intended for babies of about 3.6 to 14.9 kg. It has a built-in pouch, so you can store it compactly and take it anywhere. Choose from Blush, Cedar and Roman Green. Machine wash the wrap at a cold temperature.
Always read the instructions before first use and practise tying calmly first, perhaps with a doll. Keep a few important points in mind when carrying: hold your baby snugly and high against you, close enough to kiss the top of their head. Their face must always be visible and uncovered, and their chin must not press on their chest, so your baby can breathe freely. Support the back in a natural position. Check on your baby regularly and don't dress them too warmly under the wrap. Prefer a carrier with buckles? Take a look at baby carriers.
Silicone is easy to care for. Rinse the bib under the tap with soap, wipe the placemat with a damp cloth and soap, and hand wash the bowl in warm soapy water. Let everything dry well before putting it away. Check silicone products regularly for tears or damage and replace them when needed. Wash the wrap cold in the washing machine.
Always stay with your child while they eat. Let your little one sit upright, for example in a high chair, and offer food that suits their age. Always check the temperature of warmed food before serving. Take the bib off again after eating.
Mushie products make a stylish and practical baby gift. A set with a bib, placemat and bowl is a lovely present for a baby about to start solids, and a wrap is nice for parents-to-be. You will find more ideas under gifts. We are happy to gift-wrap your present.
