Carl Oscar drink bottles for boys

A spider, a monkey, an elk, a dolphin or a camel: with the Carl Oscar drink bottles for boys, your son always has a cool animal at hand. At Tiny Giggles you'll find five bottles in two types. The light 350 ml Tritan drink bottles are ideal for younger children, and the 500 ml steel water bottles with straw are for children who already drink a bit more. Below you can read which bottle suits which moment of the day.

The five bottles

• Tritan drink bottle Grey 350 ml: with a spider.
• Tritan drink bottle Lime 350 ml: green with a monkey.
• Tritan drink bottle Orange 350 ml: with an elk.
• Water bottle Blue 500 ml: with a dolphin.
• Water bottle Green 500 ml: with a camel.

Tritan or stainless steel?

• Tritan (350 ml, 6.9 x 17.5 cm): strong, transparent and very light. You can see straight away how much is left. The bottle has a carrying handle and a double screw opening for adding ice cubes or fruit easily; it's leak-proof, break-resistant and easy to clean because the parts come apart.
• Stainless steel (500 ml, 7.3 x 19.1 cm): made of 18/8 food-safe steel, with a cap of polypropylene and silicone. The bottle is 100% leak-proof with a fold-out spout and a steel straw, so your son can drink while the bottle stays upright. A straw cleaning brush is included.

Please note: the steel water bottle is single-walled and therefore not insulated. It's not suitable for the oven, microwave or freezer. For drinks that need to stay cold or warm, see thermos bottles for boys.

Which bottle for which moment?

• Daycare and playgroup: a 350 ml Tritan bottle. Light, small and easy to hold.
• Primary school: a 500 ml steel bottle, so your son has enough to drink all day.
• Sport and outdoor play: the steel bottle with straw; drinking is quick, even in between.
• At the table at home: the Tritan bottle with a few pieces of fruit in the water for a fresh taste.

Drinking enough on a busy day

Boys busy playing often forget to drink. A bottle of his own with a favourite animal helps him remember. Preferably send water along: it's good for teeth and quenches thirst best. Fill the bottle fresh in the morning and let your son show you after school how much he drank. With the transparent Tritan bottle you can see it straight away.

Making fruit water

Does your son prefer something with flavour? Put a few slices of apple, orange or cucumber in the Tritan bottle. The wide screw opening makes that easy. He'll drink water with a fresh taste, without added sugar. Do rinse the bottle well afterwards, so no fruit remains.

Carl Oscar drink bottles for boys by age

For toddlers and preschoolers, the 350 ml Tritan bottle is often best: light enough to carry himself, with a capacity that fits a small thirst. Once your son goes to primary school and has longer days, the 500 ml steel bottle is the logical next step. It fits upright in the side pocket of many backpacks from backpacks for boys.

On holiday and on the go

On holiday, in the car or on a day out, a bottle of his own is a must. The steel bottle with straw is handy in the car, as your son can drink without tilting the bottle. More handy items for travelling are under travel. Refill the bottle with tap water on the way, so you never need to buy drinks.

Several children in the family? Give each child a bottle with their own animal, so nobody mixes them up at the table or at school.

Cleaning

Wash the bottle every day with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, and take all parts apart. Clean the steel bottle's straw with the brush included. An extra brush is handy for the neck and the corners of the cap; you'll find one under bottle brushes. Let all parts dry open.

A set with the same animal

The monkey and the elk also appear on the Carl Oscar lunchboxes for boys, so you can combine a bottle and lunchbox with the same animal. All products from the brand are under Carl Oscar. Other bottles for boys are under water bottles for boys and bottles for boys.

Off to school

A bottle belongs in every school bag. A lunch bag with a bottle pocket is under lunch bags for boys, and everything for the new school year under school. Put your son's name on the bottle, as many bottles often stand together at school.

Reusable instead of disposable

With a bottle of his own you no longer need drink cartons or plastic bottles. That saves waste and often money too. The steel bottle is made to last and the Tritan bottle is break-resistant, so both can take a knock.

A fun gift

A Carl Oscar drink bottle with a cool animal is a fun, affordable gift for a birthday or the start of the school year. Combine it with a lunchbox featuring the same animal for a complete set.

Tip: buy two bottles, a Tritan one for home and a steel one for school, so there's always a clean bottle ready.

Tip: fill the bottle in the evening and put it in the fridge, so it's ready to grab in the morning. Write your son's name on the bottle or add a name sticker, because at school lots of bottles often stand side by side on the table.
