Kids' suitcases for boys

On holiday, a sleepover at grandma and grandpa's or a weekend away: with his own suitcase, your son instantly feels like a real traveller. At Tiny Giggles you'll find kids' suitcases for boys with favourite heroes and characters, such as Spider-Man, Bluey, Paw Patrol, Sonic and Cars, and designs with a dino or an aeroplane. From brands and licences such as Marvel, Disney, Kidzroom and Skooter. Below you can read which suitcase suits your child and how to pack it cleverly.

Why his own suitcase?

Children love having their own suitcase, just like mum and dad. They pack their favourite things themselves, proudly wheel their case along and feel truly part of the trip. That way the holiday is fun even before you've left.

Kids' suitcases with favourite heroes

• Spider-Man: the Boundless Trolley in blue and red (42 x 32 x 11 cm) and the Star Of The Show Trolley in blue (47 x 31 x 14 cm).
• Bluey: the Made To Roll Trolley in blue, 49 x 31 x 14 cm.
• Paw Patrol: the Made To Roll Trolley (42 x 31 x 14 cm) and the Star Of The Show Trolley (42 x 32 x 11 cm), both in blue.
• Sonic: the Made To Roll Trolley in blue, 49 x 31 x 14 cm.
• Cars: the red Made To Roll Trolley from Disney, 41 x 30 x 14 cm.

Dinos and aeroplanes

Prefer no cartoon character? There are cheerful designs too:

• Skooter Boundless: a blue trolley with a dino, 42 x 32 x 11 cm.
• Kidzroom Current Legend: a green trolley with an aeroplane, 42 x 32 x 11 cm.

What do the suitcases have in common?

All kids' suitcases are made of 100% polyester and have one roomy main compartment with a zip. There's a loop on top, handy for lifting the case or hanging it up for a moment. Because it's a trolley, your son can take his own suitcase through the station or airport himself. That gives children a sense of independence, and it saves you a bag to carry.

Choosing kids' suitcases for boys

• Size: the smallest suitcases are about 41 x 30 cm, the largest 49 x 31 cm. A younger child can manage a smaller case more easily.
• Depth: the 14 cm deep models offer a little more space than the 11 cm ones.
• Favourite character: a suitcase with his hero makes packing and travelling extra fun.
• Backpack or trolley? Prefer something he can also carry on his back? The Spider-Man Great Escapes Backpack Trolley is 32 x 26 x 11 cm. More models are under trolley backpacks for boys.

Packing cleverly

Let your son help with packing, so he knows exactly what's in his suitcase. A few tips:

• Roll clothes instead of folding them; that takes up less space and creases less.
• Put heavy items, such as shoes, at the bottom, so the case stays stable.
• Put small items, such as socks and underwear, in a separate pouch or inside the shoes.
• Keep a cuddly toy and a book on top, so you can grab them quickly on the way.
• Leave some room for souvenirs.

For toothbrush and toothpaste, a toiletry bag for kids is handy.

Tips for travelling with children

• Make it fun: let your son make a list of what needs to come and tick off together what's in the case.
• Name and address: attach a label with your phone number to the loop, so the case comes back if it gets lost.
• Not too heavy: a child likes to pull his own suitcase. Keep it light enough that he can.
• Things to do on the way: a book, colouring things or a small game make long journeys feel shorter.
• Snacks and drinks: keep a drink bottle and a snack box in your own bag, so they're quickly to hand.

As hand luggage

Is the suitcase going on the plane? Every airline has its own rules for hand luggage dimensions. So always compare the suitcase's measurements with your airline's rules before you leave. Pack liquids for the cabin separately according to the current rules.

Not just for holidays

A kids' suitcase is also handy closer to home: a sleepover at friends', a weekend with grandma and grandpa or a night on a school trip. Your son packs his pyjamas, cuddly toy and clothes himself, and takes everything along easily. At home you can store toys or dressing-up clothes in the case, so it isn't just sitting in the cupboard.

Care

Wipe the outside with a damp cloth after the trip. Let the suitcase dry completely, empty and open, before storing it, so no musty smell develops. Keep it in a dry place, and it's ready for the next adventure.
