A good drink bottle comes along every day: to nursery, school, sports or a day out. At Tiny Giggles you will find b.box bottles for boys in cool colours such as Blue Slate, Midnight, Emerald Forest, Ocean Breeze, Graphite and Blue Blaze. The Australian brand b.box makes bottles cleverly designed for little hands: easy to hold, easy to open and easy to clean. You can choose from Tritan straw bottles, sports bottles with a spout and insulated stainless steel bottles. Below you can read about the differences.
Tritan drink bottle with straw
The b.box Tritan drink bottle comes in 450 ml (from 9 months) and 600 ml (from 4 years). The triangular shape fits perfectly in the hands of a child who drinks with two hands. The lid pops open at the press of a button and locks in place, so it doesn't hit your child in the face when the bottle tips forward. The bite valve on the straw prevents accidental spills, and thanks to the bent straw with a silicone top your child can drink even when the bottle is tilted. The bottle also has:
- a sturdy carry handle, handy for hanging on the school bag;
- a wide opening for easy refilling and adding ice cubes;
- few parts, so it's quick to take apart and put back together;
- a removable bumper;
- dishwasher safe.
More straw models are under bottles with straw for boys.
Sport Spout drink bottle
For children who prefer drinking from a spout, there is the b.box Sport Spout drink bottle, in 450 ml and 600 ml. The silicone spout doesn't need to be squeezed, so drinking is easy, and a flap prevents spills. Like the Tritan bottle, it has the triangular shape, the push-button lid that locks in place, a flexible carry handle and a removable bumper for extra protection. The bottle is made of Tritan, free from BPA, PVC and phthalates, and can go in the top rack of the dishwasher. All water bottles are under water bottles for boys.
Insulated drink bottles
Want water or juice to stay cool for a long time? Then choose an insulated drink bottle in double-walled stainless steel with a silicone straw and a handle:
- 350 ml (from 12 months): keeps drinks cold for up to 8 hours or warm for up to 6 hours, in colours such as Blue Slate, Chill Out, Emerald Forest, Lemon Sherbet and Lemon Twist.
- 500 ml: keeps drinks cold for up to 15 hours or warm for up to 8 hours, in colours such as Blue Blaze, Midnight, Ocean Breeze and Emerald Forest.
Please note: this bottle is leak-proof when the flap is closed. If the flap is open and the bottle tips over, drink can come out of the straw.
Insulated sport spout bottle
The 500 ml insulated sport spout bottle combines a stainless steel bottle with a silicone spout for free-flowing drinking. The lid keeps the spout covered and hygienic, and the bottle is leak-proof when the lid is closed. It keeps drinks cold for up to 15 hours or warm for up to 8 hours and has a silicone carry handle. Don't use the bottle in the microwave or with acidic drinks, as they can affect the steel. All insulated models are under thermos bottles for boys.
Which b.box bottles for boys should you choose?
- Little one (from 9 months): the 450 ml Tritan drink bottle with straw.
- Toddler and preschooler: the 450 ml Tritan or Sport Spout, or the 350 ml insulated bottle.
- School child (from 4 years): the 600 ml Tritan or Sport Spout.
- Long days and warm weather: a 500 ml insulated bottle, which keeps drinks cold for up to 15 hours.
- Sports: a spout bottle, such as the Sport Spout or the insulated sport spout bottle.
Cleaning and care
The Tritan and Sport Spout bottles have few parts and are dishwasher safe; for the insulated bottles use the top rack only. Regularly take the straw or spout out of the lid and wash everything in warm soapy water. A small brush is handy for the straw and mouthpiece; see bottle brushes. Let all parts dry completely before putting the bottle back together. Is a straw or spout worn out? Under spare parts for drink bottles you'll find replacement parts.
Off to school
Hang the bottle on the backpack by its handle, or stand it upright in the bag. Add a few ice cubes on warm days; thanks to the wide opening that's easy. Write your child's name on the bottle or the bumper, so it doesn't get lost at school. Looking for a bag? See backpacks for boys or lunch bags for boys.
