Choosing baby clothes for boys

How many clothes do you need?

In winter dress your baby in layers: a bodysuit as the base, the wrap top and trousers over it, and outdoors a hat and a warm blanket in the pram. With layers you can easily take something off when it's warmer indoors. Regularly feel the back of the neck to check your baby isn't too warm or too cold.
Using them safely
A hat is lovely outdoors and in the first days, but take it off when your baby is indoors and when he goes to sleep. Don't dress your baby too warmly; feel the back of the neck to check he isn't too hot. For sleep, a baby sleeping bag is the safest choice. Put nothing loose in the cot.
