b.box: the Lunchbox and the MINI Lunchbox
Most of this collection comes from b.box, in cheerful colours such as Blush Crush, Flamingo Fizz, Lilac Pop, Strawberry Shake, Lemon Sherbet and Indigo Rose, and also with Hello Kitty.
- b.box Lunchbox (5+ years): with a large compartment for a whole sandwich or roll. Take out the tray and pasta or salad fits too. Under the sandwich compartment sits an ice pack (included) that keeps food cool and fresh for longer.
- b.box MINI Lunchbox (3+ years): more compact, with a flexible fruit compartment with an elastic seal and two sealed, leak-proof compartments for wet food such as yoghurt, purée or a dip. With the removable sliding divider you make the compartments bigger or smaller.

Ideas for the compartments
With compartments, a varied lunch is easy. Put the sandwich or wrap in the largest compartment and fill the smaller ones with fruit, vegetables and a treat. Think of grapes and cherry tomatoes (halved for young children), cucumber, apple pieces, an egg, a few crackers or a hummus dip. Silicone cups, for example from MontiiCo, allow even more division.
Fresh and cool
The b.box Lunchbox has an ice pack under the sandwich compartment. For other lunch boxes you can use a separate ice pack and put the lunch box in a lunch bag for girls. Ideally pack lunch in the morning, or put the filled lunch box in the fridge the evening before. Separate ice packs, extra containers and other parts are under accessories and parts for lunch boxes.
Cleaning and care
Clean the lunch box after every use with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, and let all parts dry well before closing it again. Check the packaging for each brand to see if the lunch box can go in the dishwasher. Wash the b.box lunch boxes by hand. With the Yumbox, take out the inner tray to get into the corners properly. Don't leave leftovers in too long, especially on warm days. That keeps the lunch box fresh and lasting for years.
Complete the lunch set
Combine the lunch box with a water bottle for girls and a snack box for a snack. Looking for a lunch box for a boy? Then take a look at bento lunch boxes for boys. Tips for a lunch that gets eaten
Let your daughter help choose what goes into the compartments, and she'll often eat better. Keep portions small and vary regularly. A cheerful lunch box in her favourite colour also makes the lunch break just that bit more fun. And put her name on the lunch box, so it always comes back home.
A fun gift
A bento is a practical gift for the first day of school or a birthday. Combine it with a water bottle in the same colour for a complete set, or add a snack box for the short break. That way she has everything at once, all in her own style. We are happy to gift-wrap your present.
