AFKliving has been making design rugs for years: Berber rugs, children's rugs and Scandinavian rugs. The designer, Emmanuelle Toché, first worked for fifteen years in marketing and communication at large companies around the world, and lived in Asia, India and the United States. When she became a mother, she wanted softness, simplicity and harmony, including in the way she furnished her home. She gave up her former profession and started making rugs for children and their parents.
She draws her inspiration from her travels, her love of art and design, Scandinavian decoration and her home town of Paris. According to the brand, all AFKliving rugs and decorative accessories are made with respect for people and nature, with non-polluting dyes and in line with environmental standards.
