This is a super deluxe double card of 13 x 19 cm in pink and cheerful colours. Inside there's lots of colour and the text You did it!, with room underneath for your own message. Hallmark mini pregnancy card Gefeliciteerd

A small white card of 5 x 7 cm with the Dutch text Gefeliciteerd (congratulations), blank inside. Perfect to attach to a pregnancy gift or baby gift, with a short personal message.

Hallmark mini card Dikke Kus

A colourful mini card of 7.5 x 7.5 cm with the Dutch text Dikke Kus (big kiss), blank inside. Lovely with a small gift for a friend, a child or grandma and grandpa. Thanks to its cheerful design, it's also a sweet extra in a lunchbox or a kids' room.

Not sure what to write? A few short, warm sentences are enough. Some examples:

Why a real card?

You can send a message in seconds, but a real card lasts. Many people keep their congratulations cards, especially after a birth: they go in a box or the baby book and are read again years later. A handwritten card shows you took the time to think of someone. That makes a small gesture very personal.

Tips for a personal card

• Use the name: address the recipient, and for a birth also the baby's name if you know it.
• Make it personal: a memory or a joke only you share makes the card special.
• Keep it short: a few heartfelt sentences often say more than a long text.
• Sign clearly: especially if the gift is sent on, the recipient wants to know who it's from.
• Write neatly: use a pen that doesn't bleed through, and let the ink dry before putting the card in the envelope.

Sending a card

Sending the card by post? Write the address clearly on the envelope, including the postcode and house number. Put the stamp in the top right corner and add your own address on the back, so the card comes back if something goes wrong. That way your congratulations will arrive safely. Post the card a few days in advance, so it lands on the doormat in time. Sending the card together with a gift from Tiny Giggles? Then we make sure everything is neatly packed together.
