b.box

At Tiny Giggles you will find a large b.box collection: the well-known sippy cup with a weighted straw, the b.box drink bottle for school, clever bento lunch boxes and handy products for first foods. b.box makes smart, brightly coloured products for eating and drinking that help children eat and drink independently, from 4 months to primary school.

About b.box

b.box is an Australian brand founded by two mums, Dannielle and Monique. They started b.box to solve a problem every parent knows: children's products that do not leak, are easy to clean and that children can use themselves. Every b.box product is thoughtfully designed, often together with experts such as a paediatric occupational therapist, and is free of BPA, phthalates and PVC. The products come in recognisable colour combinations such as Ocean Breeze, Lemon Sherbet, Blueberry and Strawberry Shake, so your child can have all their things in the same colour. You can read more about the brand on the b.box website.

Learning to drink with b.box

The b.box cups grow with your child. The base of the cup fits three different lids, so you only need a new lid for each stage:

• Spout Cup (from 4 months): a spout cup with a soft silicone spout and a built-in cover, ideal for the first sips.
• Sippy Cup (from 6 months): the famous b.box sippy cup. The weighted straw moves with the liquid, so your child can drink even when the cup is tilted or nearly empty. The valve prevents leaks.
• Training Cup (from 12 months): a training cup with a window in the lid, so your child can see how much is left. A great step towards drinking from an open cup.

All cups hold 240 ml and have easy-grip handles. You will find them among our kids' cups and mugs.

The b.box drink bottle for school and on the go

For older children there is the b.box drink bottle. Its triangular shape fits perfectly in two small hands, and the lid pops open at the press of a button. It clicks into place so it does not hit your child in the face.

• Tritan Drink Bottle (450 and 600 ml): light and sturdy, with a curved straw and bite valve that prevents spills. The wide opening makes refilling and adding ice cubes easy.
• Sport Spout Drink Bottle (450 and 600 ml): with a silicone spout you drink from without squeezing, and a removable bumper.
• Insulated Drink Bottle (350 and 500 ml): double-walled stainless steel with a silicone straw. The 500 ml keeps drinks cold for up to 15 hours or warm for 8 hours, the 350 ml cold for up to 8 hours or warm for 6 hours.
• Insulated Sport Spout Bottle (500 ml): stainless steel with a spout and a lid that keeps the spout clean.

You will find more drink bottles among our water bottles and thermos bottles. The Tritan and insulated bottles can go in the top rack of the dishwasher.

b.box lunch boxes and snack boxes

With the b.box lunch box you can easily pack a varied lunch. The large Lunchbox (from 5 years) has a compartment for a whole sandwich or bagel, a compartment for a whole banana or wrap and leak-proof silicone seals for moist food such as yoghurt or watermelon. A gel cooler under the sandwich tray keeps everything cool and fresh for longer.

The MINI Lunchbox (from 3 years) holds 1 litre and has two leak-proof compartments and a flexible fruit compartment. The Snackbox is even more compact and ideal for a snack; it is freezer and dishwasher safe. All boxes have a clip that little hands can open themselves. Also take a look at our snack boxes and fruit containers, and for a warm lunch the 335 ml b.box thermos food container.

First foods with b.box

Is your baby starting on solid food? Then b.box helps with:

• Fresh Food Feeder (from 4 months): a fresh food feeder that lets your baby safely suck on pieces of fruit or vegetables. The silicone version stands upright so it stays clean.
• Silicone First Feeding Set (from 6 months): a suction bowl and a soft first spoon. Microwave, dishwasher and steriliser safe.
• 2-in-1 Suction Plate (from 6 months): a suction plate with three sections; the divider and suction base are removable. More plates can be found among our children's plates.
• Toddler Cutlery Set (from 9 months): designed with a paediatric occupational therapist, with a spoon that doubles as a scoop and a fork sized for little mouths, in a handy travel case. More under kids' cutlery.
• Smock Bib: a long-sleeve bib with a crumb catcher and adjustable cuffs, also in a large size for 2 to 4 years.

Handy at home

The foldable b.box bottle drying rack is ideal for drying bottles, cups and teats. Folded, it is only 3 cm high, so you can easily take it on holiday too. More drying racks can be found under drying racks for baby bottles.

Cleaning b.box products

Most b.box products can go in the top rack of the dishwasher. Take straws, spouts and seals apart and rinse them well so no milk or juice is left inside. A straw brush helps to clean the inside of the straw. Do not use the insulated bottles in the microwave or for acidic drinks, as these can affect the steel. Let all parts dry thoroughly before putting them back together.

Which b.box product suits your child's age?

• 4 to 6 months: Spout Cup and Fresh Food Feeder.
• 6 to 12 months: Sippy Cup, First Feeding Set and Suction Plate.
• 1 to 3 years: Training Cup, Toddler Cutlery Set and the 350 ml insulated drink bottle.
• 3 to 5 years: MINI Lunchbox, Snackbox and the thermos food jar.
• From 4 and 5 years: the Tritan or Sport Spout drink bottle and the large Lunchbox for school.

A complete b.box school kit

That way your child has a recognisable set for school and on the go. A b.box set also makes a lovely gift for a birthday or the first day of school; our wrapping service makes it look festive.
