The EN FANT slippers are made of soft leather or supple suede, on the outside as well as the lining and the sole. An elastic opening at the back makes them close nicely around the foot. A large star in the same colour sits on the toe as a 3D appliqué. Choose from:
- Leather: in black, blue (Blue Night), brown and Old Rose, in size 20 (insole about 12.7 cm).
- Suede: in Blue Night and Old Rose, in size 18 (about 11.4 cm) and size 20 (about 12.7 cm).
EN FANT recommends choosing a size about 15 mm longer than the foot, so there is room to grow.
Baby slippers from Orangenkinder
The Orangenkinder slippers are handmade in Bavaria from soft, breathable nappa leather that is vegetable-tanned, chrome-free and uncoated. A hand-sewn rubber band keeps the slipper from sliding off the foot, while it is still easy to put on and take off. Each pair has a cheerful animal with its own story:

Why soft slippers?
Children's feet are still developing. Soft slippers with a flexible sole let the foot move freely, almost like walking barefoot, while protecting against cold and small bumps. How to choose the right size
Place your child's foot on a piece of paper and trace around it with a pen, preferably while your child is standing. Measure the length from the heel to the longest toe. Add about 1 to 1.5 cm for growing room and choose the size with the insole closest to that. Unsure between two sizes? Choose the bigger one, as children's feet grow fast. Check the fit regularly: when the toes touch the front, it is time for a new size.
Safe at home
Leather soles feel pleasant on most floors, but they can still be slippery on a smooth floor or stairs. So keep a close eye when your child is just learning to walk, especially on tiles and wooden floors. Slippers are meant for indoors; a child who already walks needs sturdier shoes outside.
Caring for leather and suede slippers
Wipe leather slippers with a damp cloth and let them air-dry, not on the radiator. Gently brush suede with a soft brush. Do not put slippers in the washing machine, as the leather may harden or shrink. A little leather balm keeps leather supple for longer. Store the slippers in a dry place, so they stay nice for a long time and can perhaps be passed on to a little brother or sister.
