Which part fits your bottle?
The parts are specially designed for one type of bottle, so check carefully which bottle you have:
- Cup with a straw and a weight: that is the Sippy Cup. Choose the replacement straws and brush.
- Tritan bottle with a straw: the Tritan drink bottle of 450 or 600 ml. Choose the Tritan straw tops.
- Insulated bottle with a straw: the Insulated Drink Bottle of 350 or 500 ml. Choose the Insulated straw tops.
- Bottle with a sport spout: choose the spouts for the Sport Spout Bottle or the Insulated Sport Bottle.

Why a spare part?
Children love to chew on the straw or spout, especially when teething. Over time the silicone gets damaged or starts to leak. And sometimes a part gets lost, at school or on the go. With a spare part your bottle is as good as new, for a fraction of the price of a new bottle. b.box deliberately sells the parts separately, so you only replace what you need. When do you replace a straw or spout?
- When you see cracks, holes or bite marks.
- When the bottle starts leaking at the straw or spout.
- When the silicone has become discoloured or hard.
- When there is dirt inside that you can no longer remove.
Check the parts regularly, for example when cleaning. Replace a damaged straw or spout straight away.
How to replace the part
Sippy Cup straw: gently take hold of the pull tab on the straw and pull it down to release it. Remove the weight and attach it to the new straw. Then put the straw back in the cup.
Sport Spout Bottle spout: unscrew the cap of the bottle. Take hold of the tab and gently pull the silicone spout out of the lid. Push the new spout into the lid from below, turn the lid over and pull the spout through with a twisting motion until it sits firmly in place.
Straw tops of the Tritan and insulated bottle: follow b.box's instructions on the packaging. Always check that the straw top is firmly in place before filling the bottle.
Cleaning
The Sippy Cup straws are dishwasher-safe, but must not go in the microwave. The straw tops of the Tritan and insulated bottle can go in the dishwasher and the steriliser. The sport spouts can go in the top rack of the dishwasher and in the steam steriliser. Use the included brush to clean the inside of the straw: insert the brush from the bottom of the straw and push it up. For other bottles and straws, there are handy bottle brushes.
Tips for a long life
- Clean the straw and spout after every use, especially after milk or juice.
- Let all parts dry well before putting the bottle back together.
- Keep a spare set at home, so you are never without.
- Keep loose parts in a small box or pouch, so they don't get lost in the kitchen drawer.
- Teach your child not to bite the straw or spout, so it lasts longer.
At school and on the go
It's at school or on an outing that things tend to go wrong: a straw that leaks, a spout that gets lost. So put a spare part in the changing bag or school bag, and the bottle is usable again in no time. Do you have several children with the same bottle?
