Thanks to the open sides, you easily pull the poncho over the head, and you fasten it with the narrow ties at the sides. Choose from light blue, light pink, Soft Green and Soft Yellow. Washable at a maximum of 40 °C and suitable for the tumble dryer on a low temperature.
The nuuroo Adelin poncho is made of 100% organic cotton, about 50 x 50 cm and suitable for children aged 1 to 4. The hood has sweet little ears, so your child comes out of the water not only warm but extra cheerful. There is a loop on the inside, so you can easily hang the poncho up to dry. Available in green and pink.
A Hello Kitty fan? The pink Hello Kitty poncho is about 60 x 120 cm, made of 100% cotton and suitable from newborn to 4 years. It is washable at 40 °C.
For the beach there are the Lässig UV beach ponchos, from 1 year. The outside is made of recycled polyester with UPF 80 UV protection, tested to UV STANDARD 801. The inside is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The tightly woven microfibre outside dries quickly and protects against the wind. That makes the poncho a warm hood, a quick-drying towel and a sand-repellent beach mat in one. The ponchos are about 60 x 120 cm and weigh only 220 grams. Choose from Block Stripes Milky/Blue, Block Stripes Milky/Peach, Sea Animals Milky, Seahorse Caramel and Whale Caramel. Wash them at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, and do not iron, bleach or tumble dry them.
Most ponchos are suitable from 1 to 3 or 4 years. A poncho can be a little roomy: that way your child moves easily in it and it covers the legs too. Consider your child's height and, if in doubt, go a little bigger. Is your baby still small? Then a hooded towel is often handier, because you can wrap your baby up in it completely.
Never leave your child alone in or near water, not even with a poncho on. A poncho is meant for drying off and warming up, not for sleeping in. The Lässig UV beach poncho protects the skin it covers, but always apply sunscreen to uncovered skin and seek shade during the hottest part of the day. A kids' hat gives the face extra protection.
Hang the poncho up properly after use so it dries quickly and stays fresh. The Jollein, Meyco and Hello Kitty ponchos are washable at 40 °C. Don't use too much detergent: that is better for the fabric, the environment and your wallet. Wash the Lässig UV ponchos at 30 °C on a delicate cycle. For the nuuroo poncho, follow the instructions on the care label.
