- With a flower: in cotton, with a cotton insole and a non-slip outsole, with Velcro. For example beige with a pink or red flower, grey, red, pink or white with a yellow flower.

Sneakers and canvas shoes
Under sneakers you'll find, among others, the white Baby Boy Sneakers with gold stripes, with a Vibram outsole, a PU leather upper and Velcro. There are also cotton canvas shoes with a floral print in pink or white, with a non-slip outsole.
Slip-ons
Under slip-ons you'll find cotton shoes with Velcro in beige and blue, with a cotton insole and a non-slip outsole. Thanks to the Velcro you put them on and off quickly, even when your little one wriggles. Handy for nursery too, where carers often need to put shoes on and take them off.
Leather slippers
For indoors and first steps, soft leather slippers are lovely. Under slippers you'll find:
- Orangenkinder: slippers in soft, breathable, vegetable-tanned, chrome-free nappa leather, with animals such as Birdie the bird, Eulalia the owl, Franz the fox, Lina the kitten, Susi the bee and Trixie the triceratops.

Why light, flexible shoes?
Baby feet are still soft and grow fast. When learning to walk, children feel the ground with their feet, which helps their balance. A light, flexible sole that bends well gives them that room. A stiff or heavy sole makes walking harder. That's why it's best to choose light, flexible baby shoes. The shoes in this collection have a non-slip or Vibram sole for grip on smooth floors.
Shoes for the pram
Not walking yet? Soft slippers or ballerinas are also lovely for keeping little feet warm in the pram, or as a finishing touch to an outfit for a party or photo shoot. Choose a soft model that doesn't pinch, such as the leather slippers from Orangenkinder or EN FANT.
For every season
In summer, airy cotton canvas shoes and ballerinas are lovely. In autumn and winter, leather slippers and sneakers with socks keep little feet warm. That way two or three pairs of shoes cover the whole year.
The right size
Measure the feet in the afternoon, when they are at their biggest. Let your child stand, put the heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. Add about one centimetre, so the toes have enough room. Unsure between two sizes? Choose the bigger one. Check regularly whether the shoes still fit: children's feet grow fast. Press your thumb on the toe of the shoe; if you feel about a finger's width of room for the toes, the fit is right.
Tips for first steps
- Let your child walk barefoot or in soft slippers indoors as much as possible.
- For outdoors, choose a light, flexible sole that bends with the foot.
- Let your child practise at their own pace; every child starts walking at a different moment.
- Make sure there's a safe space to practise, without loose rugs or sharp corners.
With socks
On cold days, socks keep feet warm in slippers or shoes. Under socks you'll find socks with Disney, Paw Patrol, Marvel and Baby Shark. Choose socks that fit well, so they don't slip down inside the shoe.
Colours
There's a choice of cheerful and calm colours: from gold and silver to aqua, pink, red, beige, blue and white. Looking for a specific colour? See for example red shoes. Combine the shoes with a hair accessory or an outfit from baby clothing, or with other accessories such as a hair clip or a bib.
Care
Wipe leather slippers and PU leather shoes clean with a damp cloth and let them air dry, not on the radiator. Brush cotton shoes once they're dry. Always check the label before washing. Store the shoes in a dry place, and they'll stay nice for a long time.
