Minikoioi makes cheerful, handy children's tableware from soft silicone, for first bites and sips. Think of small cups for learning to drink, plates with a suction base, spoons with a bamboo handle and reusable straws. At Tiny Giggles you will find Minikoioi in soft colours such as blue, pink, green and yellow, also as a complete set. That makes learning to eat on their own a lot easier and more fun.
Minikoioi was co-founded by Hande Todd. She lived on several continents and came up with handy products during that time to make life as a parent easier. That is how Minikoioi was born, to share these products with the whole world. The brand focuses on sustainable items with a functional and unique design, in cheerful colours that go well together.
The Minikoioi Mini Cup is a small silicone cup for young children learning to drink on their own. The cup holds 180 ml and is about 6.5 x 7 cm, just right for small hands. It is suitable from 4 months and made of 100% premium silicone, free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, plastic and latex. Because the material is soft, the cup doesn't break if it falls over. The Mini Cup can go in the microwave and oven; hand wash it in warm soapy water. Choose from Blue, Pink, River Green, Rose and Yellow.
The Minikoioi Portions plate has a suction base underneath, so the plate stays in place better. It is divided into 3 compartments, so you can serve different foods separately. A raised edge helps your little one scoop the food onto the spoon. The plate is about 19 x 3 cm, suitable from 6 months and made of 100% premium silicone, free of BPA, phthalates and PVC. It withstands temperatures up to 200°C and can go in the microwave and oven. Use the suction base on a smooth, dry surface. Choose from Blue, Rose and Yellow.
The Minikoioi Scoops are a set of 2 spoons with a head of soft, food-safe silicone and a bamboo handle. The bamboo handle is biodegradable and relatively large, so small hands can grip it easily. The soft head is lovely for children who are just learning to feed themselves. The spoons are suitable from 9 months and free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, plastic and latex. They are not suitable for boiling or sterilising. Choose from Mineral Blue and combinations with Aqua Green, such as Mellow Yellow, Pinky Pink and Velvet Rose.
The Minikoioi Flexi Straws are reusable straws made of 100% food-safe silicone, soft and supple and free of BPA, PVC and phthalates. Because they are soft, they are also suitable for young children just learning to drink from a straw, from 9 months. Choose from a set of 2 in blue or pink, or a mix set of 4 straws in green, blue, grey and dark pink or in green, grey, dark pink and pink. Hand wash the straws in soapy water; they can't go in the dishwasher and shouldn't be boiled. You will find more under straws.
The Minikoioi set consists of a suction plate, a flexible bib with a food catcher and a spoon, all in the same colour. The bib catches spills, the plate stays put and the narrow, soft spoon fits small mouths well. The set is suitable from 6 months and made of 100% premium silicone, free of BPA, phthalates and PVC. The plate can go in the microwave and oven. Choose from Blue, Green and Pink. A lovely start for first bites, and a nice baby gift.
Around 6 months, many babies start on solid food. At first that means small bites and lots of mess, and that's all part of it. A plate with compartments helps to offer different flavours separately, so your little one can discover what they like. A spoon with a large handle and a small cup make it easier to practise on their own. Let your child explore at their own pace, and give them time to play with and taste their food.
Always stay with your child while they eat and drink, and let them sit upright, for example in a high chair. Always check the temperature of warmed food carefully before serving, as silicone can get warm in the microwave. Take care with the straws when your child is teething: if your little one bites hard into the straw and pulls on it, it can get damaged. Check cups, spoons and straws regularly and replace them if they are damaged.
Hand wash the Minikoioi products in warm soapy water and let them dry well. Silicone is smooth and easy to clean. The straws and spoons shouldn't be boiled or sterilised, and the straws can't go in the dishwasher. Store everything in a dry place.
A Minikoioi set or a Mini Cup with a matching plate is a practical and cheerful baby gift, or a nice present for a baby about to start on first bites. You will find more ideas under gifts. We are happy to gift-wrap your present.
