Is your daughter a fan of Elsa, Anna and Olaf? With a Frozen backpack she takes her favourite characters with her to school, daycare or a day out. At Tiny Giggles you will find two Disney Frozen II backpacks from the Find the Way collection, in an ice-blue colour with winter wonderland details. Both backpacks are PVC-free thanks to a TPE coating and have a handy size for small shoulders. Below you can read the differences, which size suits your child and how to adjust the backpack properly.
The Frozen backpacks at Tiny Giggles
The front of both backpacks shows Ice Queen Elsa, her sister Anna and Olaf the snowman, in the ice-blue winter wonderland of Frozen 2. Choose from:
- Disney Frozen II Find the Way Backpack: about 28 x 22 x 9 cm, with a spacious main compartment, a small zipped front pocket and two side pockets for a water bottle.
- Disney Frozen II Find the Way Backpack PVC Free: about 31 x 22 x 9 cm, slightly taller, with a spacious main compartment and a zipped front pocket.
Both backpacks have padded shoulder straps that are adjustable in length, and a loop at the top to hang the bag on a coat hook.
Which Frozen backpack do you choose?
The biggest difference is in the pockets and the height. If your child takes a water bottle, the 28 cm backpack with the two side pockets is handy: the bottle stays outside the bag and does not leak onto the sandwiches. Want a bit more room for a lunch box, a drawing or an extra jumper? Then choose the 31 cm backpack. Both are PVC-free and have the same cheerful Frozen design.
Which size suits your child?
At 28 to 31 cm high, these backpacks are great for toddlers and preschoolers. A good backpack is no wider than your child's shoulders and does not hang below the waist. That keeps carrying comfortable, also on the way to school. A children's backpack is meant for light things: a lunch box, a water bottle, a cuddly toy or a set of spare clothes. Heavier things are better in a larger school bag.
Adjusting the backpack properly
- Use both straps: teach your child to wear the backpack over both shoulders, not one.
- Straps at the right length: adjust the shoulder straps so the backpack sits close to the back and does not swing.
- Heaviest things at the back: put the lunch box and bottle in the main compartment, close to the back.
- Readjust regularly: children grow fast, and a thick winter coat needs slightly longer straps.
What goes in the bag?
A handy checklist for a day at school or daycare:
- A lunch box with lunch and a healthy snack.
- A water bottle.
- A set of spare clothes for the little ones, with extra underwear and socks.
- A cuddly toy or comforter if your child likes to have one along.
- On PE days: gym shoes and sports clothes in a separate bag.
- On trips: a sun hat or a beanie, depending on the weather.
Pack the bag together with your child, so your child knows exactly what is in it and learns to take responsibility for their own things.
The story of Frozen 2
In Frozen 2, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven the reindeer go on an adventure beyond the kingdom of Arendelle. Elsa hears a mysterious voice and sets out to find the origin of her ice powers. Together they discover the enchanted forest and learn that with courage and friendship you can face any challenge. Many children know the songs by heart. With a Frozen backpack they take that adventure with them every day. And who knows, your child may sing along to the famous song on the way to school, with Olaf as a cheerful travel companion on the bag.
Complete the set
A backpack looks even better with matching items. Take a look at Disney lunch bags for girls and Disney pencil cases for girls, or choose a cheerful lunch box and a water bottle for girls. For PE class there is a gym bag. Buying several items at once? With create a school kit you get 5% off on 2 items, 10% on 3 items and 15% on 4 or more.
More backpacks
Looking for a different Disney character? Then browse all Disney backpacks for girls, for example the Minnie Mouse backpacks. All backpacks for girls are under girls' backpacks, and the full range under backpacks and school bags. More from Disney is under Disney, and everything for the new school year under school.
Cleaning and care
Empty the backpack completely now and then and shake out the crumbs. Wipe away stains with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let the bag dry open. Put wet things, such as a swimsuit or a leaking bottle, in a separate pouch. That way the Frozen backpack stays nice for a long time.
Tip: add a name
At school and daycare there are often several identical backpacks on the coat hooks, especially with a popular character like Elsa. So write your child's name on the inside of the bag, or hang a name tag on the loop. That way your child always goes home with their own backpack.
