The ballerinas with hearts are the festive favourite. They have a Vibram outsole, a PU leather upper, a cotton insole and Velcro. They're decorated with small embroidered hearts and a bow. Choose from seven colours: aqua, beige, gold, red, pink, silver and white. Gold and silver are lovely with a party dress; pink and white go with almost everything.
Shoes and ballerinas with a flower
For spring and summer there are light cotton shoes with a flower, a cotton insole, a non-slip outsole and Velcro:
- ballerinas in beige with a pink flower and grey with a grey flower;

Leather slippers for crawling and first steps
- EN FANT baby slippers in Old Rose: in soft leather or suede, with an elastic opening and 3D appliqués. They keep little feet warm and give grip when crawling and taking first steps.
- Orangenkinder leather baby slippers: entirely handmade from breathable, plant-tanned, chrome-free nappa leather. There are three animals: Birdie the Bird (purple), Eulalia the Owl (beige with pink) and Lina the Kitten (brown). Ideal for learning to walk and crawl.

Baby shoes for girls: what to look for
- Flexible: a baby's foot must be able to move freely. Choose shoes that bend easily, like the cotton models and leather slippers.
- Good fastening: Velcro or an elastic opening keeps the shoe in place without pinching.
- Breathable material: cotton and leather let air through, so feet don't get too warm.
- Grip: a non-slip or Vibram sole gives support once your daughter starts standing.
The right size
Measure your daughter's foot before ordering: place the foot on a sheet of paper, mark the heel and longest toe and measure the distance. Compare it with the inner length, such as 11 cm for 3-6 months and 12 cm for 6-12 months. Leave a little room for the toes, but don't choose too big, or the shoe slips off. Check every few weeks whether it still fits, as baby feet grow fast.
Indoors or outdoors?
Indoors, bare feet, non-slip socks or soft leather slippers are often best, so your daughter can move her feet and toes freely while crawling or pulling herself up. Outdoors, at a party or on a walk, ballerinas and shoes protect the feet and complete the outfit. Many parents therefore have two pairs: soft slippers for home and nice shoes for going out.

Care
Wipe PU leather and cotton shoes clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Brush leather slippers dry and dab marks with a slightly damp cloth. Always let shoes dry at room temperature, never on the radiator. Clean the Velcro now and then so it keeps closing well.
